Key Points

Three Events:

5000m- 4 laps of 1.25km buoyed circuit on flat water.
500m Sprint- laned course
200m Sprint- laned course

Race Start : 11.15AM

All paddlers must be registered members of ICU, CANI or an affiliated Club.
Age Groups: Juniors under 18 on 1 Jan 2023. U-16, and U-12 classes subject to entries.
All Paddlers must wear buoyancy aids and all craft must have adequate buoyancy.
NI Schools Trophy is awarded to first Northern Ireland junior paddler overall at school in 2023-4.
Refreshments will be provided at the finish.

What to bring

All types of kayak and canoe and SUPs welcome. Single kayaks should not exceed 5.5m length. Double kayaks and canoes should not exceed 6.5m length. Entry fee: Junior £5 Senior £8 Fees to be paid (cash) 10.30 to 11.00 on the day (or by transfer in advance) Meteor Waterski Club is on Bresagh Road, Lisburn. There is a waterside private car park. All Paddlers must wear buoyancy aids and all craft must have adequate buoyancy.
